Library enhancement discussion continues. Correspondence also includes discussion about the lighthouse, and an elevation drawing is included; the Siebens Den is officially established. Some discussion ensues about BV's centennial in 1991.

Correspondence is often accompanied by facility needs reports, contractual agreements, and quarterly financial and progress reports, most often relating to the library expansion. Some correspondence focuses on discussions of Siebens' interest in constructing a Siebens Den and a Ham radio shack. The lighthouse and Boy Fisherman statues were later erected as Siebens memorials.

This sub-series contains drafts of documents related to the Descendants Seminar and to a meeting that was planned for early January 1989, but which does not seem to have occurred due to Siebens' failing health. Also included are obituary and funeral documents, including a speech Briscoe delivered at Siebens' funeral. Additional files include information about the Siebens Den and the proposed library expansion.
