Biographical Note

Wendell D. Buckley was born November 23, 1921 in Pennsylvania. He attended Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music where he earnhis B.A. and M.A. in 1950 and 1951 respectively. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. After working at Southern State Teachers College, Springfield, South Dakota, Dr. Buckley taught at Buena Vista College as an instructor in music between 1952 and 1954. From there he spent many decades teaching at Concordia College (Ohio).
