Swope Hall collection-Transferred to BVU-0007

Swope Hall, built for women's housing, is the oldest dorm on the campus of Buena Vista University, with its contruction completed in 1950. It closed as a dormitory in 2014, with most of the building vacant. An Iowa Central Community College nursing program had inhabited the basement for years. More recently it has housed the Center for Criminal Justice Studies, costumes for the theatre department and temporary offices or temporary housing.
