Historical Note

In a bid to ensure the health of Buena Vista College in general and the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business in particular, Briscoe, with the help of a few consultants, wrote a second proposal, which the Board of Trustees voted to call The Siebens Century. One of the proposal's main goals was to secure more funding and to rename Buena Vista College to Siebens College and from Siebens College, ultimately, to Siebens University. The last sentence of the document says it all: "Will you adopt us?" In the end, Siebens demurred.

Arrangement

Files are arranged in chronological order. Even though the ending date of the Comprehensive Agreement is later than the end date of the Pentad, research suggests that the Comprehensive Agreement occurred before the Pentad was distributed.
