Some highlights include: Briscoe emphasizes the value of a liberal arts background for business, discussions with Siebens about the Siebens Den, getting Ronald Reagan to speak via satellite, mineral rights for oil and gas exploration in Iowa. Dr. Fred Brown, Provost, shares faculty expectations for professors who will teach in the School of Business. Schedules and preparation for Siebens' June visit are included. They begin talking about a ham radio station to be located on campus. Siebens and Briscoe also discuss water treatment for Storm Lake.
