Historical Note
The Colleges of Mid-America (CMA) was a consortium of private colleges in northwest Iowa and southeast South Dakota. Established in 1968, this inter-institutional cooperative first included ten schools; later it included as many as 15 colleges. CMA offered seminars and workshops for administrators, faculty, and students. It also sponsored academic enrichment opportunities for students including leadership development, interim travel experiences for students. The CMA offered inter-library loan services and published the CMA Review for student writing.
