Content Description

The B.V. Players Scrapbooks collection features two scrapbooks of the drama group, dating from 1925 – 1938, and 1937 – 1953, respectively. Both scrapbooks feature posters, programs, news, pictures, and reviews of productions from their timeframes. Scrapbook 1 also features club auditions, club member additions, Alpha Psi Omega inductees, and roll sheets.

Historical Note

The B.V. Players Club was a local dramatic performance club, founded in 1925, that flourished through the 1950s. In 1926 the club was awarded a local chapter of the national fraternity Alpha Psi Omega. Although the group no longer exists, references to it can be found through the 1970s in The Tack (campus newspaper).
