It is unknown when this postcard was published, but the typed reference to the Commercial Bulletin on the "note" side of the postcard suggests the early 20th century.
The face of the postcard features a dove with a ribbon in its mouth and the words, "A Timely Suggestion from One Interested in your Future Welfare." The line artwork features a lot of detail.

Biographical Note
Rose A. Brander was born August 4, 1930 in Storm Lake, Iowa and lived in the Storm Lake area her whole life. She married Charles Mills in 1950 and they had five children. Rose died on January 4, 2018.
Her sister, Lorraine Brander Peterson, was a Buena Vista College alumnus, and Rose's son-in-law, Scott Eike, donated the postcard to the BVU Archives in 2021.
