This collection contains programs from each year the lecture series was held, documents detailing the planning of the event, copies of the recordings, assorted emphera, correspondence, and clippings. A drawing by Pam McGinnis, copyright 1999 (6/50) showing the tenth anniversary (1989-1999) of speakers is included in an oversized box.

It also includes photographs of Buena Vista trustees. Politicians and political candidates who visited Buena Vista while seeking office or who appeared for American Heritage Lecture Series (AHLS) are also included in this series.
