In 2016, Matthew Brown thanked librarians Jodie Moring and Jackie AlSaffar for research help they provided while doing his graduate coursework at the Ottumwa site.
Ryan Marzen, in 2016, wrote Dr. Dixee Bartholomew-Feis, thanking her for the preparation he received for graduate school, and she forwarded the note to the library.
Also in 2016, recruiter Moriah Wendel thanked the library staff for their help in a research project she worked on.
In 2018, National History Day students from Albert City-Truesdale thanked the library for all of their help in securing materials for their projects.
In 2019, UPSHF secretary and former Daily Press sports editor Dennis Grall contacted the BVU Archives and received information about Marmaduke "Duke" Christie, who went to BV and was being honored at the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame.
